Dr Jaffer is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at Barts NHS Trust and an Honorary Senior lecturer at QMUL. He is also the Director for Research and Innovation for Interventional Radiology at Barts NHS Trust and Deputy Director of the Integrated Research Unit. Dr Jaffer is a member of the British and European Societies of Interventional Radiology and has been awarded prizes for his research, including the Finzi Prize (Royal Society of Medicine) and the Trainee Research Prize (Radiological Society of North America). Dr Jaffer has authored peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters on renovascular intervention. He has been either a Principal or Chief Investigator in 9 National or International trials. Dr Jaffer has been an invited lecturer for his expertise in Endovascular procedures at various national and international congresses, including CX symposium, BSIR, VS, CIRSE, LINC, PAIRS and PVI.
