For the past 25 years he has worked in the field of chronic limb threatening ischemia, performing hundreds of percutaneous revascularization procedures a year and teaching international courses and seminars.

He is the head of the Peripheral Intervention Unit and Scientific Director of the Diabetic Foot Center at the San Carlo Clinic in Paderno Dugnano, Milan, Italy.

Author or co-author of 50 publications dedicated to the treatment of ischemia of the upper and lower limbs. He is invited as a speaker in many international congresses such as VEITH, LINC, CACSV, SITE, CIRSE, EWMA.
